Walkinstown Festival Needs You!Walkinstown Festival is on Sunday 31st of August in Walkinstown Park, from noon to 5pm. It is a completely volunteer-run community event, and we are looking for help on the day to make everything run smoothly.
The festival includes live music, entertainers for kids, stands for community groups, and sports and games run by St James Gaels GAA. We need people to manage queues, direct people to the different events, welcome people at the entrances, and so on. Each volunteer will be needed for 2-3 hours, and will receive a voucher for the food trucks.
This is the fourth year of the festival. Every year so far has been a smashing success, and we're looking forward to another great day. Reply to this message or email [email protected] to be part of it!
