This fall, we will be following Naomi Schmidt’s study Philippians: Living in the Joy of Christ. Time for fellowship will be the half hour before we begin our lesson for the evening! Lessons will begin at 7:00PM.
All are welcome and are free to extend the invite to others! Whether you can make all 8 lessons, or just one, we can’t wait to see you there for fellowship and study!

About Namoi Schmidt:
Naomi Schmidt is a passionate student of God’s Word who writes Christ-centered Bible studies, Advent by Candlelight services, devotions, and prayers that speak to the hearts of women. She teaches several area women’s Bible studies and has spoken at conferences throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota as well as California, Arizona, Texas, Alaska, Nebraska, Virginia, and Canada. She presented at the 2023 WELS National Conference on Lutheran Leadership and has also presented several times at the WELS Women’s Ministry Conference. Naomi loves worship music, reading, and visiting over a cup of coffee with an open Bible.
About Philippians: Living in the Joy of Christ:
Chained to a Roman guard and facing a possible death sentence, Paul wrote a letter overflowing with joy. How could Paul remain so joyful in such suffering? We want to know because we want to live in joy like Paul - brimming with grace, love, and a passion for souls. We want our joy to remain melded with Christ, uninhibited by hardships or suffering. We are baffled by Paul's ability to deal with suffering and marvel at his joyful thoughts in the midst of such hardship. But grace infuses Paul's heart - it moves him to suffer, strive, and share Christ at every opportunity. His heart is full, his mind is focused, and his joy is radiant. Truth pours from Scripture with the clear message that we are also given the privilege of living in the joy of Christ.
