About this Event
Are you navigating a big life transition or craving a deeper connection to your sense of self? Join The Art of Becoming — a six-week, queer-friendly art therapy group designed for women (18+) who want to reflect, heal, and grow through intentional creativity.
This group isn’t about being “good” at art — it’s about using your hands and heart to explore who you are and who you’re becoming. Each week, we’ll gather in a warm, welcoming space to slow down, create meaningful artwork, and connect with others on similar paths. Whether you’re moving through heartbreak, burnout, identity shifts, or just feeling stuck, this group offers a supportive and affordable space to reconnect with your truth.
We’ll explore themes like inner child healing, boundaries, identity, hope, and transformation — all through hands-on art projects like collage vision boards, affirmation mirrors, expressive painting, and wearable button-making. Sessions include guided reflection prompts, quiet time for art-making with calming music, and space to share stories and insights in community.
✨ No art experience necessary
✨ Queer-affirming and sex-positive
✨ Affordable: $200 total for all six sessions — materials included
