Led by professional artist and educator Melissa Peterson, the colored pencil workshop will explore how to capture the colors, textures, and personality of stuffed animals and favorite childhood toys. Through guided exercises and personalized instruction, you'll learn layering techniques, color theory, texture-building methods, and drawing fundamentals while creating artwork you'll be proud to take home. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination and a sense of curiosity.
Between creative sessions, enjoy nourishing meals, optional morning yoga and mindfulness practices, cozy evenings with tea, wine, and conversation, and plenty of time to rest, reflect, and explore Hamilton’s charming Dayton Lane neighborhood.
