About this Event
The Rocky Mountain Thunderkatz are Colorado Springs’ own women’s tackle football team, and we’re building our roster for the 2027 season! Join us at John Venezia Community Park for tryouts.
The Katz play full padded, full contact, 11-on-11 football. We compete in the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA), one of the largest women’s football leagues in the nation, facing teams from across the country.
Whether you’re a seasoned player, a former athlete looking for your next challenge, or brand new to the game, we want to meet you. All skill levels welcome whether you are a first timer or a veteran player. Big, small, fast, or strong, there’s a position built for you. Our coaches will teach you the fundamentals. We are more than a team, the ThunderKatz are a community of strong women who support each other on and off the field.
