About this Event
Llais is the national, independent body set up by Welsh Government to give people of Wales a stronger voice in their health and social care services.
We often receive feedback from individuals around access and care around women's health.
The most important insights come from those with lived experience, and we want to hear directly from you so we can advocate for change.
There will be short talks from Llais and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, as well as a Q&A session. This is followed by activities where you can share your views in a safe, supportive space, on any health topics you wish to discuss.
Topics include:
• Pregnancy & Birth
• Gynaecology
• Menopause
• Pain & pain management
• Preventative Care
• Cancer
You can take part in whatever way feels most comfortable — chatting in a group, speaking one‑to‑one, writing things down, or sharing your thoughts after the event. There’s no pressure to speak if you’d rather listen.
Light refreshments will be provided. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know.
After the event, feedback will be collected and shared anonymously with services, who are required to respond to the feedback that is shared.
If you or someone you know, has experience in accessing women’s health and wants to help improve it, we’d love to see you there. If you can’t attend, you can still share your views with us directly.
