About this Event
Rooted in the changing seasons and the wisdom that comes from women gathering in circle, we will hear one another’s stories. Circle is a space to be heard, to listen, and to feel held and safe. There is no judgement or advice given, it is a place to simply be yourself. There is no pressure to speak - listening is always enough.
This We Are Rooted Circle is gently facilitated by me, Tor, and hosted in my home in North London (N16). In today’s world I feel like we need connection – to each other, to ourselves and to the planet. Circle can be a space for just that. We will sit together with intention. With intention to listen, connect, share (only if you wish), laugh, cry – everything is welcome!
What to expect…
- Have some tea, get really comfortable, a gentle welcome, check in and circle guidance.
- A guided grounding meditation, supporting the energetic transition to the open sharing.
- Honest and optional sharing – deep listening and speaking your truth. Share whatever feels a need to be heard in that moment. No interruptions, no time limits, no judgements.
- Nourishing snacks to close the circle.
- We arrive as individuals and leave as a community.
I lovingly craft guidance about Circle
- There is no experience necessary. Whether it is your first woman’s circle or you have been to many before – you are all welcome.
- In circle we are welcome exactly as we are, no masks, we trust our sisters hold no judgement on us and we hold no judgement on ourselves.
- In circle we don’t give any advice or try to fix anyone’s problems, we trust each woman has all they need within them.
- What is spoken in Circle stay’s in Circle. Our sisters stories are not ours to tell, we honour confidentiality.
- We Are Rooted is not for therapy, I am trained as a circle facilitator but not a therapist.
I am an accredited space holder with Sister Stories and I have worked as a dietitian in the NHS as a dietitian for seven years, prior to that I spent years working in hospitality and events. My work has always led me to hold space, practice deep listening and support people to feel comfortable and safe. While I facilitate the space, it is really the women that gather that make each circle unique.

We Are Rooted is a space where no experience is needed. If you have sat in many circles or it is your first, you are welcome.
I welcome all ages, races, backgrounds and abilities into the space. Diversity can be incredibly enriching for us all and it is truly welcome.
Pricing: Pricing is tiered while we build our community. A space in the circle is £15 in March and £20 from April onwards.
I wish Circle to be available for everyone, no matter your financial situation. There will always be spaces available at £5, no questions asked. To access this rate enter the code Rooted5 and the price will change to £5.
