About this Event
Women Rising is a thoughtfully designed leadership experience for women educators who are ready to deepen their impact while staying connected to purpose and community. We use the heart and mind to build, empower, and sharpen our leadership skills. Participants will be emboldened to lead from their authentic selves and create cultures of growth and reflection.
Born out of the powerful conversations and reflection at the CATDC Women + Leadership Conference, Women Rising creates an intentional space for women leaders to pause, reflect, and grow together. Beginning with a retreat grounded in nature and community, and continuing with a combination of in-person and virtual convening, participants will explore the inner work of leadership while strengthening the tools needed to lead schools, teams, and communities with confidence and authenticity.
This is for you if you are:
- Not currently in a leadership role, but interested in developing your capacity for leadership
- An emerging leader, taking on additional leadership in your school, such as a teacher leader
- An early career leader who is interested in cultivating an authentic leadership voice and sharpening leadership skills
Through guided reflection, facilitated dialogue, and leadership practices grounded in both research and lived experience, Women Rising invites participants to reconnect with their voice, clarify their vision, and cultivate the kind of leadership that nourishes both self and community.

AUDIENCE
Women Rising is an affinity space that is welcoming and respectful of women of all backgrounds, including trans women, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of women. We recognize and acknowledge the intersection of race and gender identities, and it is our hope that we can offer an inclusive and intentional space that challenges white supremacy and celebrates the uniqueness, experiences, and contributions of each participant.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Life happens. We understand that there will be times when you cannot attend a workshop that you have registered and paid for. Registration may be transferred to a different person up to 7 days before a session. However refunds will not be given, and a session missed for any reason will not be refunded.Below we have outlined our cancellation and refund policy, which we have in place to ensure the most accurate numbers when we secure well in advance locations, catering, and facilitators. Thank you for understanding.For our ongoing programs or one-day intensives, refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to 22 days before the scheduled starting date. We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made 21 days or less prior to the first day of a workshop. A missed session that is part of an ongoing program is non-refundable and non-transferrable. For our summer institutes refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to 30 days before the scheduled starting date. We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made 29 days or less prior to the first day of a summer institute.
Please contact us by email as soon as you know you cannot attend a workshop. This will allow us time to contact our waitlist and hopefully fill your spot.
