About this Event
Join the Women of West Yorkshire network at The Hepworth Wakefield to hear from a panel of women as they discuss the importance of creativity. Topics will cover the link between creativity and health, panellists’ journeys, from pursuing creative passions and overcoming challenges to building careers in creative industries, and why it is so essential that women keep creating.
Through two panel discussions, we'll explore the connection between creativity and health alongside honest insights into creative careers and the many different paths people take to get there.
Whether you're looking to have a creative career, already in the industry, or just wanting to hear more about how to improve wellbeing through creativity, this is your chance to make connections and gain fresh perspectives and discover new possibilities.
You'll also have the opportunity to network, meet local organisations and find out more about the Women of West Yorkshire Network.
Bring the next generation. We encourage women, mothers, mentors and allies to bring daughters, sisters, nieces, other young people, and everyone who supports our goals and aims, to join the conversation and be inspired together.
What is the Women of West Yorkshire (WoWY) network?
