Join Broken & Beautiful Retreats in partnership with Scottsville Christian Church on October 24, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Scottsville Christian Church for a powerful half-day women’s retreat created to inspire bold, faith-filled living in today’s culture. Through the story of Jochebed—the mother of Moses—we will explore what biblical courage truly looks like: faithful obedience to God, even when the path forward feels uncertain or costly.Jochebed’s story reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to trust God and act in obedience anyway. As we reflect on her willingness to protect what God entrusted to her and place her hope in His faithfulness, we are invited to examine how courage shows up in our own lives, families, and churches.
Throughout the morning, women will be encouraged to move from inspiration to action. Together, we’ll lean into practical ways to grow in courageous faith—standing firm in our beliefs, sharing our faith with humility, voicing boundaries and needs, correcting error with love, and defending truth with grace. These rhythms of courage are not reserved for extraordinary moments, but are lived out in everyday faithfulness.
This joyful, community-centered retreat will include the familiar Broken & Beautiful hallmarks of Scripture-centered teaching, meaningful group interaction, and creative expression, all within an atmosphere that is encouraging, welcoming, and hope-filled. Women of Scottsville Christian Church warmly invite the community to gather for a morning designed to strengthen faith, spark courage, and send you back into everyday life with renewed confidence in Christ and His faithfulness.
