McCormick Automotive Center invites you to attend our 3rd annual women's clinic. A vehicle is a significant part of most people’s lives, it’s how we get from point A to point B, and how we often make a living, such as deliveries or in home health care. You don’t have to be a gear head to understand the importance of equipping yourself with basic car knowledge and how that can be used to make informed decisions on how you deal with your car repairs. We will have coffee and donuts for breakfast and our experienced technicians will be on site to answer any questions.Kaylee and McCormick Automotive Center is hosting 15-20 female participants for this event! We are doing this in October in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This workshop will include hands on demonstrations that will include:
• How to change a tire
• How to check fluids
• How to check tire pressure and how to know how much air to put in your tires
• What is underneath your vehicle in terms of components/parts (show and tell)
Other topics such as:
• What it means when brakes are grinding metal to metal
• What can happen if a car isn’t properly maintained
• The meaning behind dashboard lights
• When tires should be replaced
We believe it’s important to get involved with the community and build a solid relationship with our customers. We want to empower women to get involved with their own vehicle to be able to help educate you about the maintenance and repairs your car needs to keep it safe, reliable, and cost effective.
All participants will receive a take home goody bag loaded with swag and small tools to assist you in automotive ventures. There will also be giveaways/door prizes for participants.
