Join us for a day of learning about the ancient art of Palestinian embroidary known as Tatreez.
Overview of Day
Lunch can be ordered at the cafe downstairs on arrival, they also sell drinks and snacks.
The day will begin with an introduction from one of the ladies from the organisation about how the co-operative began and there will be an opportunity to ask questions this will be for about an hour and the we will break for lunch.
In the afternoon there will be a demonstration of how Palestinian Tatreez is done and the tools to do Palestinian Tatreez given to each attendee so that they can have a go themselves. This will be overseen by the organisers.
Tareez which has been made by the Women of Hebron is available to buy during the day. The organisation would prefer cash if possible but are able to take card.
