About this Event
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Connecting GTA Networking Club is bringing together approximately 50 women entrepreneurs, business owners, and professional leaders for a special visit to Queen’s Park in Toronto during the week of March 8, 2027.
This initiative will provide a unique opportunity for women in business to engage directly with provincially elected female representatives and government leaders, gaining insight into the economic, social, and business issues that shape the experiences and opportunities of women entrepreneurs across Ontario.
Through keynote remarks, presentations, and meaningful dialogue, participants will hear about the government’s priorities, policies, programs, and initiatives related to women’s entrepreneurship, business growth, leadership development, economic participation, and empowerment.
Beyond the opportunity to learn from provincial decision-makers, this visit aims to strengthen the collective voice of women in business, encourage collaboration, and create meaningful connections between women entrepreneurs and the people shaping Ontario’s future.
Key objectives of this initiative include:
- Engaging with Government: Creating opportunities for direct dialogue with female Members of Provincial Parliament and other government leaders.
- Advancing Women’s Entrepreneurship: Exploring opportunities, challenges, and support available to women-owned businesses across Ontario.
- Understanding Government Priorities: Learning about provincial policies, programs, and initiatives that affect women in business.
- Promoting Women’s Leadership: Celebrating the contributions of women in business, public service, and community leadership.
- Building a Stronger Collective Voice: Bringing women entrepreneurs together to share perspectives, identify common challenges, and encourage positive change.
This is more than a visit to the provincial legislature. It is an opportunity to bring women's voices into important conversations, build bridges between business and government, and help shape a stronger and more inclusive economic future for women across Ontario.
