Women Behind the Lens: Women Leading the Film & Television Industry
Join the Croydon International Film Festival for an inspiring industry panel featuring three accomplished women working across film and television: Marissa Lestrade, screen and television writer; Angela Ferreira, producer; and Karen Chambers, documentary director and producer.
From writing compelling stories to bringing productions to life and capturing powerful real-world narratives, our panellists will share insights into their creative journeys, the challenges they've faced and the opportunities available to women working in the screen industries.
Expect an engaging and honest conversation about representation, breaking barriers, navigating the industry and creating opportunities for the next generation of female storytellers.
Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker, writer, producer or simply passionate about film and television, this is an opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals, ask questions and make valuable connections.
Three women. Three perspectives. One powerful conversation.
