Have you ever looked at money posts on social media and thought, “I should do something with my money”? And then dismissed it because you didn’t know where to start?
You are not alone. Investing can seem complicated, risky and somehow meant for other people. In this talk, we’ll look at what holds women back from wanting to invest, and offer a different way of thinking about money.
We’ll tackle questions like:
• Is investing really for someone like me?
• What if I lose my money?
• Will I need a lot of money to start?
• How am I supposed to know what to invest in?
We’ll cut through the jargon and look at how investing can fit around a working woman’s life, whether you’re employed, running your own business or somewhere in between. We’ll also look at why simply saving may not be enough if you want your money to keep pace with you in the future.
You don’t need to know anything about investing beforehand. Come with your questions, your doubts and even your scepticism.
