Join Serenata as we welcome yuletide and the festive season by singing beautiful music, composed or arranged for upper voices accompanied by harp and piano.Come and hear excerpts from Benjamin Britten’s innovative and enduring composition A Ceremony of Carols, and from A Christmas Offering by Armenian Composer Kristina Arakelyan – an exquisite homage to Britten’s much-loved work.
To complete the programme, we will sing accompanied and unaccompanied music by living composers, including Bob Chilcott, Sarah Quartel, Olivia Sparkhall, Michael Higgins, James McCarthy, and Gareth Treseder, which celebrates the Christmas story.
We so look forward to seeing you there!
