A pre-Traitors Richard E Grant and Paul McGann are two 'resting' actors who go on holiday by mistake. Expect drinks service, quote-a-long lines and goodie bags!London, 1969 - two unemployed and unemployable actors, Withnail and Marwood, fed up with damp, cold, piles of washing-up, mad drug dealers and psychotic Irishmen, decide to leave their squalid Camden flat for an idyllic holiday in the countryside, courtesy of Withnail's uncle Monty's country cottage.
Perfectly cast with career-defining roles for Richard E. Grant, Paul McGann, Richard Griffiths and Ralph Brown and crammed with irresistibly quotable dialogue.
Curated (or rather, a very ridiculous afternoon of ideas thrown together) by Jacque Le Put and Julia Andrews-Clifford. Your exquisitely excitable hosts for today's entertainment will jolly your way through this wonderful film of one-liners and sheer nonsense. Enjoy drinks service at your seat, join in with the best lines, and expect goodie bags and prizes. You might even want to dress up as your favourite character. How dare you!
Jacque Le Put has been an active community member ever since, volunteering with charities and supporting homeless, vulnerable families and food projects, particularly over Covid when Jacque led a town-wide initiative on behalf of an organisation she is a volunteer Director of. With over 30 years of experience in client strategy, operational, and people performance, she has applied these skills to encourage the art of the possible in particularly challenging situations for adults and young people in their personal lives.
Doors open 7.00pm for your pleasure, for prompt start at 7.30pm. Be on time or these will be the kind of windows that faces look through at!
