About this Event
A multi-genre showcase of independent animated shorts! Each made in a week with varying mediums, based on the prompt "forget me not"
Within The Frame is an annual animation challenge where artists are tasked with creating a short film in just 7 days based on a given prompt. This year, filmmakers were asked to create a short that completes the prompt "forget me not"
We have three previous anthologies under our belt, and we're proud and excited to be hosting one of our premiere screenings this year at in LA!
Heavy Manners is a library, bookshop, and gallery that creates space for independent artists and experimental work. Their atmosphere is lovely and we're delighted to host our screening in their cozy theater.
Come join us for a showcase of over 40 charming, magical, and quite possibly even peculiar films by independent artists from across the globe. Hope to see you there :D
Within The Frame is run by Hale Stemmons and Anjali Pulim.
