Witchy Warriors is back in action for more witchy fun and women empowerment! So what is Witchy Warriors? It's women who gather together for fun, for support, for empowerment and for the pure joy of dressing up like witches.
It all started a couple years ago when a group of friends got together and made a day of it dressed up like witches. We laughed and laughed, going around town taking pictures and ultimately landing our brooms at Danny's for a fun night.
Following that so many women reached out to us asking to join in the next year.
So started Witchy Warriors.
We not only gather together dressed up as witches but we also find a way support other women.
Last year it was the YWCA Battered Women's Shelter.
This year we will be supporting Cyndi Ekey, a Rossford graduate, who was seriously injured at the Old West End shooting this past July.
Our gathering this year is Sunday, October 25.
