Witch Walk SOSA is excited to announce our 5th Annual Dance & Animal Benefit Fundraiser in Saratoga Springs, taking place on October 17, 2026. We are reaching out to local businesses and community partners who share our passion for supporting animals and making a positive difference in our community.A meaningful portion of the funds raised each year comes from our basket raffle, made possible through the generosity of businesses and individuals who donate merchandise, gift certificates, experiences, and other items. We would be honored to have your business participate.
Your Donation Makes a Difference
Since our founding in 2005 in Ballston Spa, New York, Witch Walk SOSA (Southern Saratoga) has raised thousands of dollars to support animal organizations and animal welfare efforts. What began as a small community fundraiser has grown into a much-loved annual tradition with more than 500 witches participating and a year-round dance troupe, the Witch Way Wanderers.
Our event has continued to grow and is now proudly celebrated in Saratoga Springs, where we are marking our fifth year at this location.
By donating to our raffle, you are helping us turn community generosity into direct support for animals in need. Your contribution will also give your business valuable exposure to an engaged local audience. With more than 10,000 followers on Facebook, we are pleased to recognize and thank our donors by tagging their businesses and encouraging our followers to support the businesses that help make our fundraiser possible.
About the Witch Way Wanderers
The Witch Way Wanderers Dance Troupe performs spirited witch dances inspired by the Wolfshager Hexenbrut witch dance troupe of Wolfshagen, Germany. Our troupe is made up of amateur dancers of all ages and backgrounds who share a love of dance, community, and making people smile.
Throughout the year, the Witch Way Wanderers bring our unique brand of dance, merriment, and enthusiasm to public, nonprofit, private, and fundraising events throughout Saratoga and Upstate New York.
We are proud that no fee is charged for nonprofit organizations or fundraising activities. Fees from private and corporate performances, along with patron donations, are channeled through Witch Walk SOSA to benefit animal welfare.
