Witch bells, also known as Faerie charms are associated with good luck, precious memories and joyful energy. In this workshop you will use a variety of willows to make a small wreath.
You'll add bells to your wreath to carry wishes and spells on the air throughout your home, salt for protection and celestial charms as homage to the feminine energy of the moon.
You can also bring meaningful items from home to add to your charm...
Lavender from your garden to promote calm,
Or rosemary to ward off malevolence.
A seashell from a perfect day at the seaside,
A dried dandelion picked for you by a child,
The wristband from a festival where you had the time of your life,
That piece of jewellery that you love but which turned your neck green! 😂
Witch bells are carriers of good vibes and treasured memories.
Our workshops are friendly and welcoming. We actively encourage complete beginners to come and try the wonderful craft of basketry, meet a varied group of people in a pleasant and safe space.
Willow and tools will be provided as always and for this workshop we'll also provide bells, little bottles of salt, assorted charms, some strings and ribbons and beads.
We also encourage you to bring some little treasures from home to personalise your charm or perhaps a bunch of something from the garden to share?
There will be tea and coffee and cake and a chance to spend a few hours completely wrapped up in warm, fuzzy thoughts 😊
