Wise County Turkey Trot Welcome to the 9th Annual Wise County Turkey Trot 2026

The Wise County Turkey Trot is a beloved community tradition, uniting runners, families, and local businesses each Thanksgiving season. More than a race, it's a powerful fundraiser— bringing together wellness, festive fun, and the spirit of giving for our neighbors in need. Your attendance fuels the success of this year’s race, helping fund vital local charities that support several communities throughout Wise County.
THANKSGIVING MORNING
Starting line: Decatur Main Street
1 mile begins at 8am and 5K begins at 8:30am
Adults are $30 and children (under 12) are $20 for the 5k and adults are $20 and children (under 12) are $15 for the one mile
ALL Registrations received after November 10th at midnight are $30 ($20 for 12 & under) and there is no guaranteed t-shirt with late registration!! We will only be ordering a limited amount of extra t-shirts so please make sure you get your registration in on time.
Packet pick up will be November 20th and 21st at White Heat Boutique on the Square in Decatur, Texas.
Weather/Refund Policy: Rain or shine event. In the event of lightening, we will delay. No refunds will be given for any reason. In the event that you are unable to attend, your registration payment will be contributed to Wise County Turkey Trot as a donation.
Bring canned goods as they will be donated to our local food bank for the Christmas Holiday.
