The first presentation of Takao Kaneko's haiku in Britain — and the first publication of his work in English.Wisdom for Life 生きるための名言集, translated by Dr Laurence Mann (University of Oxford), launches with two Oxford events:

📅 Sat 31 Oct · 11:00–13:00 — Curio Books + Culture (reading + discussion)
Kaneko writes from Kobo-Syu, a support centre for disabled people in Saitama. His diary was discovered by a staff member who found "a person looking out at the world with an extraordinary degree of affection" — writing became his work.
He joins both events live from Tokyo on Zoom (20:00–22:00 JST).
