What if the problem is not what you are looking at, but where you are standing?
In our rapidly changing, information overload times, we are flooded with opinions and quick to defend our own view. Yet some of the most freeing moments of a life arrive when the situation stays exactly the same and something in us shifts: a worry shrinks when we step back, a "difficult" person becomes human when we glimpse their story, an old wound reveals a gift.
Perspective is not about being positive, and it is not about being right. It is the living ability to see from more than one place, including places that make us a little uncomfortable.
We'll explore:
• How perspective lives in the body, the mind and the heart
• The stories we inherited, and the ones we can still choose
• The shadow side: when "seeing the bright side" becomes a way of not seeing
• How another person's view can widen our own
Together, we'll ask: What changes when I change where I stand? Can two opposite views both be true? What might I see tonight that I could not see this morning?
The Wisdom Café is where lightness meets depth, and playfulness greets the profound. Through guided conversation, experiential activities and collective insight, the wisdom emerges from inside us and between us, not from a stage.
Come as you are. Bring a friend, bring your stories, an open mind and an open heart.
