Wisconsin Safe Care Summit A domestic violence and healthcare learning event
Recognize. Respond. Refer.
Sessions will cover domestic violence fundamentals, strangulation recognition and response, trauma-informed care, rural access barriers, youth advocacy and prevention, and scenario-based practice.
The program is built around three actions: recognize, respond, refer.
The summit is designed for physicians, nurses and SANE nurses, advanced practice clinicians, behavioral health and social work staff, care coordinators, EMS, law enforcement, fire personnel, and clinic and health system leadership. Attendance is free and includes breakfast and lunch.
