There’s something pretty magical about a winter morning when the sky lights up in soft pinks, peaches, and gold behind a quiet forest of snow-covered evergreens.
Join us Friday night, November 20th at Happily Painted Studio in Selah to paint Winter’s First Light, an original winter landscape designed and taught by Dani!
We’ll build this painting step-by-step, starting with that glowing, colorful sky before creating layers of distant forest, snowy hills, and beautiful evergreen trees. Along the way, you'll learn some of my favorite techniques for creating depth, atmospheric trees, snow, highlights, and that soft glowing light that makes the whole scene come alive.
And don't worry if trees intimidate you! I'll walk you through them from the distant little trees all the way to those big foreground pines.
🎨 Beginner-friendly — no painting experience needed.
❄️ Step-by-step guided instruction
🌲 Learn several different evergreen and layering techniques
✨ Create a finished winter landscape you'll actually want to hang up
🥤 Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks
🖌️ All painting supplies are included
Come spend your Friday night somewhere warm, cozy and creative. Bring a friend, make it a date night, or come by yourself and meet some new painting friends.
