Winterfest 2026: A Holiday Affair
Join the Farmington Valley (CT) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated for Winterfest 2026, an elegant holiday fundraiser featuring dinner, live music, dancing, fellowship and philanthropy at Farmington Gardens.
Winterfest is more than a holiday celebration. It is an opportunity to gather with friends and community supporters while helping sustain the programs, initiatives and service efforts of the Farmington Valley (CT) Chapter throughout the Farmington Valley and Greater Hartford.
A Celebration Rooted in Community
Farmington holds a meaningful place in African American and American history. In 1841, following their historic U.S. Supreme Court victory, 38 Mende Africans from the Amistad came to Farmington, where they lived, studied, worked and raised funds for their return to Sierra Leone.
The town also became associated with Connecticut’s abolitionist movement and the Underground Railroad, while Black residents had already been part of the Farmington community for generations.
Against this historic backdrop, the Farmington Valley (CT) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated continues its own tradition of service. Our chapter has served communities throughout the Farmington Valley and Greater Hartford since 1979, building upon the national legacy of The Links, Incorporated, founded in 1946.
Guests will enjoy a festive four-hour evening featuring cocktail hour, dinner, a live band, dancing, an elegant holiday atmosphere and the opportunity to celebrate the season while supporting meaningful community impact.
Your ticket represents more than admission to an evening out. It combines a memorable holiday experience with meaningful support for the programs and initiatives that allow our chapter to continue serving the communities we call home.
Proceeds from Winterfest will support community programs, initiatives and chapter operations through The Links Foundation, Incorporated.
