Join me on the first day of Advent at Maycroft Retreat for a wreath-making workshop with a fresh take on a winter classic. We’ll work with a rich mix of Scottish greenery, unexpected textures and considered, contemporary details to create a wreath with character: something individual, shaped by your own ideas and creativity.I’ll guide you through the process, sharing techniques and ideas along the way, while leaving plenty of room to experiment, play with shape and texture and make something entirely your own. No previous experience is needed, just a willingness to get stuck in and enjoy the process.
The workshop will take place in the teepee at Maycroft Retreat, surrounded by the sweeping views of the Ochil Hills. All materials and tools will be provided, along with spiced winter drinks and seasonal treats to enjoy as we make.
A little about me
My name is Helen and I’m a floral designer, tablescape stylist and hospitality specialist based in Kinross-shire. My work brings together a background in fashion and hospitality with a love of flowers, textiles, considered styling and creating memorable experiences.
My work is shaped by a varied creative background and a curiosity about materials, form and the ways they can be brought together. I enjoy exploring unexpected combinations, balancing thoughtful design with experimentation and discovering the potential in natural materials. I’m looking forward to sharing some of this with you at the workshop.
