About this Event
Make your own outdoor winter wreath using natural greenery harvested from Doon Heritage Village! Everything you need to make your own winter wreath is included in the workshop. Your instructor will share a ribbon-making mini-lesson as well. This workshop takes place in the modern museum building in a classroom setting.
Included:
- 35 cm (14-inch) grapevine wreath base
- Assorted natural greenery (typically pine, fir, cedar, and/or spruce)
- Pinecones
- Floral wire
- Wired ribbon for making bows
- Garden shears
- Scissors
- Hot glue guns
Not included:
- Specialty items, such as lights, figurines, etc.
- Gardening gloves
- Aprons

Cost: $60 + HST per person. Tickets are non-refundable.

We strongly recommend bringing your own gardening gloves and apron to protect your clothing. If you want to bring your own specialty items to include in your wreath, you may do so.
The greenery is an assortment of evergreens that grow in Doon Heritage Village, typically pine, fir, cedar, and spruce. Specific varieties of greenery cannot be guaranteed.
Due to the sharp tools used, this workshop is intended for ages 18 and up.
