About this Event
Class Description
Step into a winter wonderland and bring a charming village to life in this immersive mixed-media art class. Designed for adults and teens, this project explores 3D textured collage houses set in a snowy winter landscape, built directly on canvas.
Participants will learn how to layer materials to create depth and dimension, construct relief-style houses, and enhance surfaces with acrylic paint, texture mediums, and mixed media techniques. We’ll explore color blending, winter palettes, highlights, shadows, and surface texture to evoke warmth, light, and atmosphere within a cold seasonal setting.
This class is perfect for those who love tactile, expressive art and want to experiment beyond flat painting. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll leave with a unique, richly textured winter artwork and new mixed-media skills to inspire future creations.
Suitable for adults and teens. No prior experience required.
