About this Event
Join Sarah Kobrinsky for a generative writing workshop on the Winter Solstice. We will use various prompts to enter the long night and write our way through the dark. Everyone from seasoned scribes to total newbies welcome. This will be an opportunity to step away from the commercial frenzy of the holiday season and arrive into the stillness of your own voice.

Sarah Kobrinsky is the former Poet Laureate of Emeryville, CA, and the author of Nighttime on the Other Side of Everything (New Rivers Press). She was born in Canada, raised in North Dakota, seasoned in England, and tempered in California. Sarah and her husband have a handmade ceramic company called Jered's Pottery, where she hosts regular literary workshops and readings. She is also a folk dancer, a martial artist, and an aspiring polyglot.
