❄️ Cornfed Roller Derby is excited to once again host the Winter Solstice black and white scrimmage on Saturday, December 19 at Gibson Arena in Muncie, Indiana.🛼 Participation in the scrimmage will be open to visiting skaters from surrounding leagues. There will be two scrimmages that morning based on skater skill level. The beginner/intermediate scrimmage will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and the intermediate/advanced scrimmage will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (all times Eastern).
☀️ The cost to participate is $10 per skater, all skaters must have current WFTDA insurance. Once we’ve filled the open spots available, the registration form will switch to a waitlist in case of cancellation. Interested skaters must fill out the following form to secure their spot:
🌕 Cornfed's coaching staff will strive to create two equally matched teams for each scrimmage including visiting skaters and CFRD league members. Team placements will be sent out the week of the scrimmage.
🌽🦄🍿🎃 These scrimmages will follow the WFTDA gender policy, but don't worry, we’re busy planning our annual all-day open gender Cornflict Scrim-a-Thon for January 23, 2027. Registration for that event will open on Friday, November 6 @ 5 p.m.
💙 This scrimmage will be open to spectators for a $10 suggested donation at the door. This is a low-key event which will not include an announcer, score board, or seating. Spectators should bring their own chairs.
