A Gathering at the Turning of the LightElluminate – Winter Solstice Gathering
Sunday 20 December 2026 | 5pm–9pm
As the year draws to a close and we approach the longest night, we're bringing people together for an evening of food, creativity, connection and a little winter magic.
The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year and the turning point towards longer days. It's a moment in the natural cycle that invites us to pause, reflect and make space for what comes next.
Our gathering is an opportunity to do just that: to step away from the usual busyness, spend time together, share good food and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something with our hands.
At a time of year when it's so easy to get caught up in everything December seems to demand of us, we're choosing to make space for something a little different.
Throughout the evening, we'll explore the idea of light in different ways. We'll enjoy a beautifully prepared seasonal evening meal created by our private chef, alongside an opportunity to take part in a Japanese-inspired creative experience, drawing on ideas of renewal, repair and finding beauty in the things that shape us.
As the evening draws in, we'll gather around the fire, enjoy some music, marshmallows and good company, and take a little time to reflect on the season, the experiences we carry, the things we've learned and the possibilities that lie ahead.
Sometimes the most beautiful things aren't those that have never been changed or challenged, but those that carry their story with them.
Whether you're coming with friends or looking to meet some new people, we'd love you to join us.
