Amid the demands of daily life, this is a rare opportunity to create space for yourself—to slow down, reconnect, and nourish what inspires and sustains you from within. The Winter Solstice marks the longest night and shortest day of the year. It signals a powerful seasonal shift, as the darkness reaches its peak and the light begins its gradual return. This is a potent moment in time for transformation, hope, and new beginnings.
Gathering in community at the Solstice allows us to acknowledge this sacred turning of the seasons, honouring both the cycles of nature and our own personal journeys.
We invite you to join us for a special evening of reflection, connection, letting go, and intention-setting as we welcome the return of the light and embrace the possibilities of a new season ahead.
You can join the circle and the dance, or participate in just one part of the evening.
The Evening's Schedule
6:00 - 7:45pm(ish) - This is how we die and are reborn (optional)
You'll be guided to connect with the energy of the Solstice. Led by Arts Therapist and Open Floor Teacher Hester, we'll explore movement, reflection, and journaling. You'll be encouraged to release what no longer serves you and set clear intentions for new growth in your life.
8:00 - 9:30pm - Solstice Dance: (optional)
Let go on the dance floor. Beloved DJ Hester will guide you through an irresistible set that will make you want to move. Dance freely and release anything that doesn’t serve this next season of increasing light in your life.
Winter Solstice Ceremony (Only) $30
Dance (Only) - $30
Or join us for both! - $45
Tickets available on my website: https://www.hester.nz/events or pay at the door.
