Winter Sangha: Welcoming the Light Candle Gazing Meditationwith Suzanne Accardo
Sunday, December 6th
3:00-4:30pm (with optional social time afterwards)
Cost: $30
In the quiet of the longest night, may we find peace in stillness and hope in the returning light.
Join us for a peaceful Winter Solstice Meditation, using candle gazing as a focal point for mindfulness, reflection, and stillness. The winter solstice is our invitation to turn inward, reconnect with the beauty of our own light and celebrate the quiet wisdom of the winter season.
Through gentle breathing, guided meditation, and the soft glow of candlelight, we’ll honor the return of gradually lengthening days and the peace of remembering our own light. Together, we’ll welcome the stillness, honor the turning of the seasons, and make space for the light that is returning. This class will be held in the studio.
The Yoga Place Sangha is a community of like-minded individuals seeking a mindful way of life. It’s the perfect place for both beginners and those who already practice meditation. It is not silent meditation but rather guided with the intention to stay present and relaxed.
We practice from 3:00-4:30 and socialize with tea and snacks from 4:30-5:00 PM. Please dress for comfort. Yoga mats are optional for those who want to lie down during meditation. No meditation experience is required for this group.
