About this Event
Did you know that willow bark has been used for centuries as a natural pain reliever?
From aching muscles to tired, hardworking bodies, plants have long played a part in traditional home remedies. Willow is particularly interesting, containing natural compounds related to those used in modern pain-relieving medicines.
Join Herbal Homestead at Wild for a cosy, hands-on evening exploring the traditional uses of willow and other useful herbs. Learn about their properties, how they're prepared and how to bring some of these old skills into your own home.
You'll get stuck in making your own herbal muscle rub and healing balm to take away, along with practical knowledge and recipes to try again at home.
No previous experience needed — just curiosity, a willingness to have a go and perhaps a few tired muscles!
