Winter Backyard Wildlife: Shrubs, Songbirds & SuetMake your backyard a welcoming place for wildlife in winter! Join us to learn how to design a winter-friendly landscape using native and non-native shrubs that provide food, shelter, and habitat for wildlife. We’ll explore ways to attract songbirds to your yard during the colder months, including which foods to offer, how to choose feeders, and how to create a bird-friendly environment. Participants will also get hands-on experience making their own suet cakes to take home and enjoy feeding the birds throughout winter.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just enjoy watching birds from your window, you’ll leave with practical ideas to support backyard wildlife all winter long!
