About this Event
Happily Ever After — An Immersive Marionette Storybook Adventure
Once upon a time comes to life onstage!
For two magical days only, Le Théâtre de Marionette brings Happily Ever After to the intimate Courtyard Theater in Plano, October 23–24.
Created especially for families, this theatrical storybook adventure brings together beloved princesses, princes, heroes, villains and classic characters through the nearly lost art of marionette theater.
Journey through enchanted kingdoms inspired by timeless tales including Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, before traveling deep into the Hundred Acre Wood for a heartwarming finale featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and the classic characters created by A. A. Milne.
Presented with handcrafted marionettes, theatrical scenery, lighting, music and the artistry of live puppeteers, Happily Ever After introduces a new generation to the magic of traditional marionette theater.
And because it is Halloween weekend, young guests are encouraged to become part of the story by attending dressed as their favorite storybook character!
