A Community Evening of Remembrance, Hope, and Healing
Join Transformance Art for Wings of Light: A Meraki Remembrance, a free community gathering at New Harvest Park Pavilion in recognition of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
Please RSVP so we can prepare enough complimentary remembrance craft supplies and candles for everyone joining the Wave of Light candle-lighting ceremony.
Rooted in faith and open to all, this event offers a gentle space for families, friends, and members of our community to remember and honor babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, or during infancy. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are invited to come as you are.
Guests may arrive beginning at 5:00 PM to create a free keepsake remembrance craft to take home. At 7:00 PM, we will join families around the world in the International Wave of Light with a community candle-lighting ceremony.
The evening will include a women’s choir, poetry written by those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, visual art, and quiet moments of reflection. Through these artistic expressions, we will create space to remember, grieve, find hope, and honor the lasting bond between parents and their babies.
Transformance Art’s Meraki Projects use the arts to create space for healing, compassion, and meaningful conversation when words alone may not be enough.
Whether you have personally experienced pregnancy or infant loss, are supporting someone who has, or simply wish to stand alongside families in our community, you are warmly invited to attend.
We look forward to remembering these precious lives together.
