About this Event
The Shenandoah Valley is one of the most prominent American Viticultural Areas in Virginia. Because it is driven widely by grape growers and farmers, these grapes often end up in blends made by wineries in Monticello, Charlottesville, and Northern Virginia. But there is a reason these grapes are so sought after by the winemakers to the south! Let's look closer at the region and taste wines made entirely of grapes grown in the Shenandoah Valley to see what this rugged region has to offer!
Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will discuss the Shenandoah Valley AVA while sipping some of our favorite wines grown there with Wine Director, Erin Dudley, at the Planet Wine!
Included with your ticket:
- Seated wine class with with Wine Director, Erin Dudley
- Tasting of six fine wines from Shenandoah Valley, Virginia producers
- Small serving of artisanal cheese and bread to accompany your tasting
- Discounts on bottle purchases of all wines tasted
