About this Event
The Virginia wine industry has grown substantially in the past fifty years, becoming a region that the rest of the wine world has taken notice of. But the region is still young, and the best wine is still to come. Goals for local winemakers and grape growers include building a more sustainable agricultural footprint in times of great water stress & frost hurdles, finding the best grapes to grow in our soils and climate, and of course creating the best quintessentially Virginian wine for the international market.
Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will discuss the current innovations and experimentations being implemented in the Virginia wine scene, and taste some of the Virginia wines we believe represent where the industry is headed at the Planet Wine!
