Kelly Daniels, WSET Level 3 and Certified Specialist of Wine, curates a wine tasting series to take you through fall into the holidays.
Join us for the first in a series of curated tasting experiences led by Casa Carmen’s own Kelly. With nearly 10 years of experience and a portfolio spanning over 100 wineries, Kelly is known for creating engaging, approachable wine experiences with zero wine snob energy.
Each tasting includes a small plate to complement the selected wines.
Session 1 (October 14): Wine, Witches, and Weird Grapes. Forget pumpkin spice. This Halloween-inspired tasting is all about weird grapes, surprising pairings, and wines with names that sound completely made up. We'll explore some of the wine world's hidden gems, bust a few wine myths, and discover a pairing that just might blow your mind.
Session 2 (November 4): Beyond Beaujolais: The Many Faces of Gamay. Most people think Gamay begins and ends with Beaujolais Nouveau, but this grape has so much more to offer. Join me as we explore why wine professionals love Gamay and discover fresh, vibrant, and downright delicious wines that deserve a spot on your table all year long.
Session 3 (December 2): Wines for the Holidays. Standing in front of a wall of wine wondering what to bring to dinner? I've got you. We'll talk holiday pairings, crowd-pleasing bottles, and how to choose wines that work with everything from appetizers to dessert. Consider this your stress-free holiday wine guide.
