Straight Isn’t Always Pretty: Face-Driven Orthodontics
Presented by Dr. Jordan Lamberton
Orthodontics is about more than getting teeth straight.
Join us for an evening with Dr. Jordan Lamberton as we explore face-driven orthodontics—an approach to treatment planning that considers the relationship between the teeth, smile, lips, profile, and overall facial esthetics.
Through clinical examples and practical discussion, Dr. Jordan will share how looking beyond traditional alignment can help us think differently about what makes a smile truly beautiful.
We’ll explore:
- Why perfectly straight teeth don't always create the most esthetic result
- The relationship between tooth position, smile design, and facial appearance
- How facial features can influence orthodontic treatment planning
- The importance of considering the patient's long-term facial and smile esthetics
- How orthodontists and restorative/general dentists can collaborate to create more comprehensive outcomes
This study club is designed to encourage conversation, collaboration, and a broader approach to treatment planning among our local dental community.
Come ready to learn, connect, and look at orthodontics from a different perspective.
