Join us for a special Book Club that brings readers and author together in a relaxed, personal setting. This gathering is designed as a true conversation—one where questions flow easily, insights are shared openly, and everyone has a seat at the table.Date: Tuesday, December 8
Time: 6:30 pm
Location: Earnest Brew Works – South Toledo
We’ll be meeting with Mindy McGinnis, the author of several young adult novels, and winner of an Edgar Award in the welcoming atmosphere of Earnest Brew Works South Toledo. With a smaller group and a casual brewery setting, this event offers a rare chance to hear directly from the author about their work, inspirations, and writing process—and to engage in meaningful discussion with fellow readers.
McGinnis writes across multiple genres, including postapocalyptic, historical, thriller, contemporary, mystery, and fantasy. While her settings may change, you can always count on her books to deliver grit, truth, and an unflinching look at humanity and the world around us. The First Cut Is the Deepest is her first novel for adults.
Come for the book, stay for the conversation, and enjoy an author event that feels more like a gathering of friends than a formal presentation.
