About this Event

Want to grow your own food but don't have a backyard? You don't need one!

Join Victory Gardens and Restorative Farms for the Windowsill & Balcony Greens Plant-Along Class, a beginner-friendly, hands-on gardening workshop designed especially for apartment dwellers, first-time gardeners, and anyone working with a small growing space.

During this class, you'll learn how to get started growing greens in containers using the space you already have, whether that's a sunny windowsill, balcony, patio, or another small area.

This is a plant-along class, so you'll get hands-on experience starting your own plant during the workshop. You'll leave with a potted seedling you started yourself and the knowledge to continue caring for it at home.

No gardening experience is required. Beginners are welcome!

What You'll Learn
  • How to get started gardening in a small space
  • How to grow greens in containers
  • Basic tips for caring for your plants
  • How to start and care for your own potted seedling

What You'll Do

This isn't just a class where you sit and listen. You'll plant alongside the instructor and put what you're learning into practice.

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your own potted seedling to continue growing at home.
