Windcraft Loud is counting ten years of creativity, collaborations, musical encounters and new paths, and is celebrating this with a series of events under the title Windcraft Back. The series brings back collaborations born out of the organisation’s journey and that of the Windcraft Music Fest back into the spotlight. The concerts are complemented by music workshops, offering students, professionals and music lovers the opportunity to engage directly with acclaimed musicians from Cyprus and abroad. This is a practical workshop with Toms Rudzinskis exploring jazz improvisation, ensemble playing and musical interaction. Through exercises, repertoire and playing together, participants will develop their improvisational language, rhythmic awareness, listening skills and ability to communicate spontaneously within a group.
The workshop will also explore key concepts of jazz theory and how they can be applied directly in performance, with an emphasis on developing an individual musical voice and creating music collaboratively.
The workshop is open to saxophonists and other instrumentalists with at least a basic level of experience on their instrument.
