Windborne Presents: Music of Midwinter
Join Windborne for Music of Midwinter, a joyful and heartfelt celebration of the holiday season featuring breathtaking vocal harmonies, festive stories and music from around the world.
Windborne’s album To Warm the Winter Hearth broke crowdfunding records, becoming the fifth most-backed album crowdfunder of all time. Now, the internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble brings a full concert of its favorite seasonal music to The Emerald Art Center.
Windborne’s lush vocals and imaginative arrangements bring light and warmth to the darkest time of the year. The group draws upon traditional, classical and folk music from the United States, the British Isles and beyond. This special seasonal performance also features added instrumentation, including banjo, guitar, Lithuanian kanklės and Irish bodhrán.
“Subverting expectations and redefining the genre of vocal music…just absolutely phenomenal!” — BBC
