We open our 75th season celebrations with one of the best-known works by the composer often deemed the father of classical music,
orchestrated by one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century. It sets the concert's theme of transformation, and is followed by a new work commissioned for the occasion from young emerging British composer Ansel Chaloner-Hughes.
