Free monthly guided walks designed to support wellbeing through time spent outdoors, encouraging people to connect with nature, improve mental wellbeing and enjoy gentle physical activity in the company of others.
Take time, connect with nature and others in the glorious Wimborne Town.
Suitable for most abilities. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather.
Walks will be approx 45 minuites with stops along the way. Julie will guide participants through gentle exercises encouraging connection with our sourroundings.
Booking required.
Locations will be in Wimborne with parking, toilets and *refreshments available at the locations. *Refreshments are not guarenteed on every walk location.
Once booked an email will be sent 24 hours prior with exact location information, including where and who to meet.
The walks are weather dependent (although we do walk in all weathers!)
Dogs are unfortunatly not welcome due to the inclusive nature of the walk.

Dorset Town of Culture is an initiative by the Arts Development Company,

Julie Hand has been teaching since 2003 and qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga. Her teaching focuses on the therapeutic benefits of mindful movement and conscious breathing to promote health, wellbeing and peace of mind.
Her passion is movement for health, and her classes encourage participants to feel more connected with their bodies while developing flexibility, strength and balance. Sessions typically combine posture, breathwork and relaxation to create an enjoyable and accessible experience for all abilities.
