Eagle-eyed William Barr aficionados may notice that the picture above is NOT in fact a photo of the author. It is a horse. This is in tribute to the remarkable fact that William once beat a horse in a timed long distance race, a feat of silliness entirely in keeping with his wonderful literary output.
